Garrett lives by his motto, Work Hard, Trust, and Believe! WORK HARD in everything you do. Give it your all and always push forward even when it is hard to do so. TRUST in yourself. You have to trust that you are enough, that you are capable, and that you can do anything you set your mind to. Lastly, BELIEVE in yourself. Believe that your dreams will come true.

What's Going On With Garrett
Harriett: From Feature Film to Netflix
Harriett is a Fefature Film  series produced by Ethan Hawke. Garrett D. Reese will be one of the featured extras portraying an Enslaved Negro who barley escapes the slave pen. The series is scheduled to premiere on Sunday October 4th, 2020 at 10pm EST on Showtime.
One In Two: Meeting the Fam!
After graduation, May 2019, Garrett received an offer to perform at a one night only cabaret called Bread, Butter, and Broadway. This gig was his first New York City performance, where he sung "Rain" from the musical Once On This Island and "I'll Be Here" from The Wild Party.
Year 5 at TNCS
"In August 2023, Garrett D. Reese embarked on his fifth year as a Theatre Teacher at The New Community School in Richmond, VA. During this academic term, he successfully orchestrated the production of the school's inaugural musical for the middle school student body. In addition to this accomplishment, Garrett revitalized the After School Arts program, known as A.C.E., enhancing its impact and reach.
Currently serving as the Department Chair for the Fine and Performing Arts, Garrett has demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to the artistic development of both students and faculty. Furthermore, he has taken on the responsibility of overseeing the school's innovative house system for the past three years. This system, designed to foster service, creativity, community, and camaraderie, divides the entire school into ten teams. The objective is to encourage meaningful connections, friendships, and healthy competition, ultimately vying for the prestigious house Cup."

The Walking Dead: World Beyond is a Spinoff series created by
Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete. This is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama that is set to premiere October of 2020. Keep your eyes peeled for Garrett who can be seen in the classroom and party scenes! You wouldn't want to miss it!
